Structured preparation for Qualified Teacher Status in England
Global ED offers a structured preparation service for teachers seeking Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England. QTS is awarded solely by the UK Department for Education and is a legal requirement to teach in state-maintained schools in England. Global ED does not award QTS — what Global ED provides is expert, structured support to help teachers prepare for and succeed in the QTS assessment process.
The service focuses on two pathways. The first is the Assessment Only (AO) route, the most direct pathway for experienced teachers who already meet the Teachers’ Standards but need support building their evidence portfolio and preparing for formal assessment. The second is the Overseas QTS Recognition pathway, supporting internationally qualified teachers who wish to apply for QTS in England under the 2023 rules that opened the process to qualified teachers from any country worldwide. Global ED provides structured guidance, evidence-mapping support, and expert coaching throughout both processes.
